The top is a single length of hand-dyed cotton caught at the neck and left to fall in a soft cowl across the front, with the back cut open to the waist. There is no zip, no boning and nothing structured in it — the drape holds its shape because the cloth is heavy enough to, which is a thing you can only do with fabric this good.
It is worn with relaxed palazzo trousers cut from the same run of cloth, so the pattern carries straight down the body without a break. Flat sandals and gold hoops for daytime; a heel and nothing else in the evening.
